Armenian products are rapidly being replaced by Azerbaijani products in the Russian market.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of Armenia's "Prosperous Armenia" Party, to local journalists.
"Do you know what is happening in the Russian market right now? Armenian products are very quickly being replaced by Azerbaijani goods," he noted.
According to Tsarukyan, against the backdrop of political polarization within the country, the real sector of the economy may face serious problems. He emphasized the increasing risks for farmers, businesses, and the state budget.
The politician stated that dividing the economy into "pro-Russian" and "pro-Western" is a wrong approach.
Tsarukyan added that public contradictions in Armenia have deepened further after the parliamentary elections, and professionals and experts are not sufficiently involved in decision-making.
