Modern.az reports that this was stated by the chairman of the State Examination Center, Maleyka Abbaszade, in an interview with "Asan TV".
She noted that only 5,000 out of 100,000 applicants who applied for the admission exam participated in the trial exam conducted by the SEC.
"These exams are an opportunity for them to evaluate their results according to national standards in advance and then analyze and make a choice."
M. Abbaszade also emphasized that applicants should use the opportunity to change the groups they chose in the second attempt admission exam, and spoke about its importance:
"We have two attempts for the admission exam. After participating in the first attempt, it is possible to change the group until the second exam. Applicants who took the exam for group 1 can then apply for group 4, and those who took it for group 2 can apply for group 3 or vice versa. Every year, very few applicants use this opportunity. But I call on them to try their chances in another group in the second attempt after analyzing the results of the trial exams."
Maleyka Abbaszade also noted that they will try to announce the results of the trial exam by May 24.
