Security forces in Syria have arrested one of the main suspects in the 2013 massacre of civilians in the Tadamon district of Damascus.
Modern.az reports that the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs has released information about this. It is reported that the arrested person is former intelligence officer Amjad Youssef.
According to the information, he was featured in images released several years ago. In those frames, he is seen ordering people with their eyes blindfolded and handcuffed to run, and then shooting them.
It is noted that the victims fell into a mass grave and a total of 41 people are believed to have been killed. It is then reported that the bodies were burned.
