A striking error occurred in Washington on the eve of King Charles III's visit.
Modern.az reports that "Reuters" spread information about this.
According to the information, Australian flags were mistakenly placed instead of Great Britain flags in Washington, near the White House.
It is reported that a total of 15 Australian flags were recorded among the 230 flags hung in the city center on the occasion of the monarch's visit.
The District of Columbia Department of Transportation, responsible for the error, announced that it has already eliminated the problem and that currently only official symbols of Great Britain are placed in the area.
It should be noted that King Charles III is formally considered the head of state of Australia, but this status is symbolic.
