The US has warned Warsaw about a possible Russian hybrid operation against Poland in the coming months.
Modern.az reports that The Telegraph newspaper published information about this, citing Polish sources.
According to the information, possible scenarios include drone attacks on critical infrastructure facilities, imitation of air strikes, as well as limited entry of Russian or Belarusian servicemen into Polish territory under the guise of a "GPS error" or a "rescue operation".
According to sources, the purpose of such actions is to test NATO's reaction, force the West to reduce support for Ukraine, and present a possible diplomatic exit as a Russian victory.
Against this background, Poland is strengthening its preparedness measures. NATO, in turn, states that it is ready for a tough response and does not rule out that Kaliningrad could be one of the targets of retaliatory strikes if tensions escalate.
The Russian side has not given any official confirmation of such plans.
