Moscow's Khoroshevsky District Court has ordered the arrest of former head of "Rosaviatsiya" Alexander Neradko in a fraud case.
Modern.az reports that "Kommersant" newspaper wrote about this.
"The court granted the investigation's request to arrest Neradko, who is accused under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Russian Criminal Code (fraud on a particularly large scale)".
According to the information, the criminal case is related to the embezzlement of 800 million rubles during the construction of a new runway at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport.
The Khoroshevsky District Court has ordered the arrest of Konstantin Makhov, former deputy head of "Rosaviatsiya", for a period of 1 month and 7 days.
Konstantin Makhov is accused of fraud on a particularly large scale.
According to the charges brought by the investigation, both individuals are accused under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Russian Criminal Code (fraud on a particularly large scale).
Under this article, Alexander Neradko and Konstantin Makhov could face up to 10 years in prison.
