A train carrying wheat from Russia to Armenia, transiting through Azerbaijan, has departed from Bilajari station of "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC.
Modern.az reports that the wheat, consisting of 14 wagons and weighing 976 tons, was sent in the direction of Boyuk Kasik. The train will pass from Boyuk Kasik station to Georgia, and from there it will move in the direction of Armenia.
To date, more than 35 thousand tons of grain, about 8 thousand tons of fertilizer, 133 tons of aluminum, 68 tons of buckwheat and 414 tons of anthracite have been sent from Russia to Armenia via transit through Azerbaijan.
At the same time, more than 14 thousand tons of diesel, about 5 thousand tons of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline have been exported from Azerbaijan to Armenia.
