According to forecasts for May 1, Azerbaijan's strategic foreign exchange reserves increased by 3.4 percent, or 2.9 billion US dollars, reaching 87.9 billion US dollars.
Modern.az reports that Taleh Kazimov, Chairman of the Board of the Central Bank, stated this at a press conference dedicated to the announcement of the decision on the parameters of the interest rate corridor.
He noted that the country's strategic foreign exchange reserves currently stand at 87.9 billion US dollars.
The chairman also added that the foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan amounted to 12.7 billion US dollars.
