A new claim has emerged regarding the video footage a few months ago, in which French President Emmanuel Macron was slapped in the face by his wife Brigitte Macron as he was getting off the plane.
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that French journalists have claimed that the reason Macron was slapped by his wife was the revelation of his social media correspondence with the famous Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani. Macron reportedly exchanged messages with the actress on the phone for several months and confessed that he liked her.
Although the accuracy of the disseminated information has not been confirmed, Golshifteh Farahani has once again become the focus of world media attention.
So, who is this actress who “drove Macron crazy”?
Born in Tehran in 1983, Golshifteh Farahani is considered one of the most famous figures in Iranian cinema. She began her acting career in her teenage years and quickly gained great popularity in her country.
The actress later began to appear in international projects and became known in the Hollywood film industry. She particularly attracted attention for her role in the film “Body of Lies” alongside famous actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe.
Farahani later starred in famous films such as “Extraction”, “Paterson” and “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales”.
After disagreements with the Iranian authorities, the actress left her country and currently lives mainly in Paris. She often comes to the agenda with her speeches on women's rights and freedoms.
It should be noted that the claims about French President Emmanuel Macron have not been officially confirmed and are more in the nature of information spread on social networks.
