In April 2026, a total of 79 people were hospitalized in the Toxicology Department of the Clinical Medical Center (CMC) due to poisoning of various origins.

It was reported that as a result of timely and correct treatment measures, the condition of 74 patients was stabilized, and they were discharged home for outpatient treatment in satisfactory condition.
Of the patients, 31 people were treated for drug poisoning, 5 for rat poison (rodenticide), 19 for acetic acid, 1 for corrosive solution, 3 for caustic solutions, 3 for insecticide, 3 for snake bites, 6 for allergic reactions, 2 for alcoholic beverages, 3 for anaphylactic shock, and 3 for organophosphorus compound poisoning.
Specialized toxicological assistance, as well as intensive therapy and detoxification measures, were applied to all patients by medical personnel.
Despite the intensive treatment measures, unfortunately, it was not possible to save the lives of 5 people (1 woman and 4 men).
The main causes of death were toxic conditions resulting from poisoning with alcoholic beverages, organophosphorus compounds, and acetic acid.
