During the 2024-2025 academic year, 340 children who dropped out of education were re-enrolled in the education system.

Modern.az reports that Bahar Muradova, the Chair of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, stated this at the conference on “My Voice - My Rights” dedicated to International Children's Day.

According to her, 16 new educational institutions were built across the country, and major repairs and construction of additional buildings were carried out in 8 schools.

“Currently, 1 million 682 thousand 134 students are studying in general education institutions across the republic, and 138 thousand 332 teachers are working.”

The committee chair added that out of 156 thousand 618 students who completed the general secondary education level, 135 thousand 695 people, or 86.6 percent, were enrolled in full secondary education.
