Alpha School, a private school operating in the Hamptons region of the USA, has launched a new summer education program where artificial intelligence has taken the place of teachers.
Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that the experimental program is intended for students from preschool age to 9th grade.
According to the information, within the framework of the program, students take lessons in mathematics and reading through artificial intelligence-based platforms and applications in the first part of the day. The school administration states that the main academic teaching block lasts approximately two hours.
In the second half of the day, the training continues with practical exercises. Students meet with chefs, athletes and specialists from various fields and gain practical knowledge in financial literacy, communication skills and teamwork.
Within the framework of the program, traditional teachers have been replaced by "mentors". The teaching process is built on personalized artificial intelligence systems for each student.
The school presents this approach as an alternative to the classical education model.
It should be noted that the weekly tuition fee for the summer program organized by Alpha School in the Hamptons is 4500 US dollars.
