Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on military conscription in 2026.
Modern.az reports that, according to the plan, 261,000 people aged 18-30 will be called up to the army.
Starting from January 1, a new military conscription procedure will be implemented in Russia.
During the year, medical examinations, professional psychological examination, and meetings of the conscription commission will be held.
