The authorities are carefully monitoring the work of the embassy, as with other embassies, to ensure that no issue hinders the work of the Iranian embassy.

Modern.az reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this in response to the dissatisfaction of Iranian Ambassador Khalil Shirgholami. Pashinyan noted that no protest action has been banned in Armenia since 2018.

"We approach statements from Iran very carefully. We have done and will continue to do everything to address any concerns of our friendly country... And we will take all possible steps to ensure that there are no problems in the work of the fraternal Iranian embassy", he stated.

It should be recalled that yesterday Iranian Ambassador Khalil Shirgholami reacted harshly to the protest actions held in front of his diplomatic mission. He had stated that Armenia was becoming a center for anti-Iranian forces.
