In Nigeria's Zamfara state, at least 50 people have lost their lives as a result of an armed gang's attack on a village.
Modern.az reports that, according to a statement by the state's deputy, Hamisu Farun, gunmen arriving on motorcycles in a village connected to Tungan Dutse settlement opened fire. During the attack, a large number of people, including women and children, were abducted, and houses were set on fire.
It should be noted that Nigeria has long been facing attacks from armed gangs, as well as from Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province group, which is the West African branch of ISIS.
