It is alleged that the US demanded Kyiv withdraw its troops from the remaining controlled parts of Donbas during negotiations with Ukraine.

It was stated that the last negotiations between the parties took place on March 21-22. According to the source, the Ukrainian side is facing certain pressures against the backdrop of agreements reached between the US and Russia in Anchorage, Alaska.
An anonymous person from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's team noted that during the discussions, the main topic constantly revolves around the Donbas issue. According to him, the US side promises security guarantees to Ukraine in exchange for withdrawal from these territories.
The source stated that if no agreement is reached on key issues, Washington may withdraw from the negotiations and focus its attention on Iran, the midterm elections to Congress, and other priorities.
At the same time, it was noted that the practical implementation of such a withdrawal remains an extremely complex and controversial issue for Ukraine.
