A student was seen carrying a gun at a school in Tarsus district of Mersin province, Turkey.
Modern.az reports that, according to "Cumhuriyet" newspaper, police were immediately called to the scene.
Police officers arrived at the school, confiscated the weapon and took the student into custody to the police station.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
It should be recalled that yesterday 10 people died as a result of an armed attack on a school in Kahramanmaraş, Turkey. One of the dead was a teacher, and the others were students. The incident was committed by an 8th-grade student named Aras Mersinli.
