The Armenian government is preparing to temporarily simplify the visa regime for COP17 participants.
Modern.az reports with reference to Armenian media that a draft decision has been prepared in this regard.
According to the project, representatives of certain countries will be able to formalize their entry visas to Armenia through the E-VISA system within the framework of the COP17 conference.
According to the information, the new mechanism is intended to speed up and simplify the entry procedures for participants of the international event.
It should be noted that COP17 in Armenia will be held on October 18-30. Official Yerevan has announced its readiness to officially accept the Azerbaijani delegation to the 17th (COP17) summit of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity Parties.
It should be recalled that the decision for Armenia to host COP17 was made based on international consensus and the support of member states. The Azerbaijani side did not object to Armenia hosting COP17.
