Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping will hold both limited and expanded meetings in China.
Modern.az reports that Yuri Ushakov, assistant to the Russian president, made a statement about this.
According to him, Putin will address a video message to Chinese citizens instead of the traditional article in Chinese media before the visit.
Ushakov stated that approximately 40 documents will be signed between Russia and China within the framework of the visit to deepen cooperation in the fields of industry, transport, and nuclear energy.
According to the information, Putin and Xi Jinping will also sign a joint statement on strengthening strategic partnership. The leaders will also participate in the opening ceremony of mutual education years in Russia and China.
It was noted that on May 20, the leaders will also discuss current issues on the international agenda over tea.
At the end of the talks, Putin and Xi Jinping will make a statement before media representatives.
Ushakov added that there is no connection between Putin's visit to China and the possible visit of US President Donald Trump to China.
