European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has promised Kyiv 28.3 billion euros for military needs out of 90 billion euros in funding in 2026, as well as Ukraine's full integration into European drone production projects.
Modern.az reports that she wrote this on "X" after a phone call with Volodymyr Zelensky.
"Air defense and counter-drone efforts are among Europe's most urgent priorities. Ukraine will be fully integrated into these efforts. This year alone, the European financial support program for Ukraine will allocate 28.3 billion euros to meet Ukraine's military needs," she said.
