US Secretary of State Marco Rubio congratulated the people of Azerbaijan on Independence Day.

“On behalf of the United States of America, I congratulate the people of Azerbaijan on Independence Day.
Over the past year, we have elevated our relations to the level of strategic partnership. The culmination of this process was the signing of the Charter of Strategic Partnership in Baku by US Vice President JD Vance and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. We look forward to further strengthening our partnership through expanding regional ties, economic relations, and cooperation in the field of security.
The US welcomes Azerbaijan's commitment to achieving lasting peace in the South Caucasus and hopes to continue working together in this direction. We intend to further deepen our partnership in the coming year and beyond,” the statement said.
