Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine, Vice-Rector of the Baku branch of the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov, Vazirova Zahra Shamil gizi has been appointed director of the New Clinic.

Z. Vazirova worked as a doctor-reanimatologist at the Central Hospital of Oil Workers from 1998-2005, and as the head of the Intensive Care and Resuscitation Department of the same medical institution from 2005-2012.
From 2012-2018, she headed the Resuscitation, Anesthesiology and Resuscitation Department at the National Oncology Center.
From 2019-2024, she served as the head of the Training and Simulation Center of I.M. Sechenov University.
From 2023-2025, she served as the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Society of Reanimatologists and Anesthesiologists of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AzRAC). Since 2020, she has been the Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Medical Simulation Training Association, and since 2024, a member of the “Society in Europe for Simulation Applied to Medicine” (SESAM) organization. Z. Vazirova is the author of more than 55 scientific publications.

Honored Doctor, Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine Khalilov Zaur Bahman oglu has been appointed director of the Central Hospital of Oil Workers.
After completing his internship at the Scientific Surgical Center named after Acad. M. Topchubashov in 1997-1998, Z. Khalilov completed his postgraduate studies in surgery from 1999-2002. Since 2002, he started as a general surgeon at the Central Clinical Hospital.
From 2010-2012, he served as the head of the General Surgery Department, and from 2012 until his current appointment, he worked as the Deputy Chief Physician for Surgery.
Zaur Khalilov is one of the few specialists in our country who performs organ transplantation (liver, kidney, etc.) operations. He was awarded the title of “Honored Doctor” in 2022 by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Latifov Haji Mahammadovich has been appointed director of the Absheron District Central Hospital.
Experienced surgeon Haji Latifov, after completing his internship in the General Surgery Department at City Clinical Hospital No. 1 in 1997-1998, worked as a general surgeon in the Surgery Department of the same hospital from 1998-2019.
From 2019-2023, he worked as a general surgeon at Medistyle Hospital, and from 2023-2025, as a general surgeon at the New Clinic. From January 13, 2025, until his current appointment, he served as the deputy director for surgical services at Zagatala District Central Hospital.
H. Latifov completed the advanced training academy in “Diagnostic Laparoscopy, Operative Laparoscopy” in Russia in 2007, courses held at the Humbolt Clinical Center in Germany in 2008 and 2009, and the “Laparoscopy and Laparoscopic Gynecological Oncology” course at India's “Galaxy Care” Laparoscopy Institute in 2014.

Honored Doctor, Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Sciences Abbasov Musa Gara oglu has been appointed director of the Clinical Medical Center.
M. Abbasov worked as a doctor in several hospitals in Azerbaijan and Ukraine from 1996-2003. From 2003-2014, he worked at the Central Clinical Hospital, holding various leadership positions such as chief physician, general director, and member of the board of directors. At the same time, he served as chief physician and general director at the Ganja diagnostic and clinical hospitals of the Central Clinic.
From 2014-2020, he served as deputy general director and chief physician at Bona Dea International Hospital.
From 2020 until his current appointment, he served as the director of the Central Hospital of Oil Workers. He participated in hospital information system (HIS) conferences in countries such as the USA, Germany, Belgium, and Turkey.
Musa Abbasov was awarded the title of “Honored Doctor” in 2021 by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He is a participant and veteran of the First Karabakh War. During the Patriotic War in 2020, together with the medical staff he led, he played a significant role in organizing the operations and treatment of hundreds of wounded servicemen.
