Baku City State Traffic Police Department appealed to traffic participants in connection with "Baku Marathon-2026".
According to the information given to Modern.az from the Department, in connection with "Baku Marathon 2026", on May 3, from 09:00 in the morning until the end of the ceremony, traffic will be completely restricted on some streets and avenues for the purpose of ensuring the safety of participants in connection with the race.
The marathon, which will cover a total distance of 42 km, will start from Flag Square, pass through the administrative territory of the Seaside Boulevard, Sea Terminal, Neftchilar Avenue, Baku White City Boulevard, 8 November Avenue, Yusif Safarov Street, Sevgi Park, Heydar Aliyev Avenue, Baku Arena, Boyuk Ipek Yolu Street, Muzaffar Narimanov Street, Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, Boyukshor Street, Boyukshor Bridge, Balakhani Circle, Boyukshor-Pirshagi Road, Baku Ring Road (Bilgah-Pirshagi Highway) and finish at "Sea Breeze".
Drivers and other road users are requested to plan their movements in advance on the specified date, take into account the possible congestion in the mentioned directions, and use alternative routes.
