Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law on the addition of crosses to the Russian coat of arms. The relevant document has been published on Russia's official website of legal acts.

Modern.az reports this, citing foreign media.

“Small crowns, a large crown, and the ends of the supports are crowned with straight four-pointed crosses with expanding arms”, – the law states.

It is noted in the accompanying documents that these changes will prevent the distortion of one of the official symbols of the Russian Federation.
