World leaders and government officials will gather at the 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF2026) to be held on April 17–19.
Modern.az reports, citing "Anadolu" Agency, that the forum, which will start tomorrow, will be held under the patronage of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The theme of this year's Antalya Diplomacy Forum, first organized in 2021, will be "Combating Uncertainties while Shaping the Future."
More than 20 heads of state and government from over 150 countries, approximately 15 deputy heads of state and government, more than 50 ministers, over 40 of whom are foreign ministers, more than 460 high-level officials, including 75 representatives of international organizations, as well as academics and students, are expected to attend the forum, totaling nearly 5,000 guests.
It is predicted that approximately half of the participants at the head of state level will be from Africa and Europe, and 40 percent of the participants at the foreign minister level will be from Africa, 35 percent from Europe, and 22 percent from Asia.
More than 40 events and meetings, including leader panels, are planned to be held within the framework of ADF2026.
It was stated that in the meetings, regional developments, as well as deepening uncertainties and transformation processes in the global system, will be widely discussed, and the main agenda topics forming in political, economic, environmental, and technological directions will be in the spotlight.
Events at ADF2026 can be followed simultaneously through the forum's official website and social media accounts, and a significant part of the meetings will be broadcast live via TRT.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is planned to participate in the Third Foreign Ministers' Meeting of the Balkan Peace Platform, an eight-party meeting on Gaza, an informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States, and the Turkey–Pakistan–Saudi Arabia–Egypt meeting within the framework of ADF2026.
