It has been announced that a decision on allocating 90 billion euros in financial aid to Ukraine could be made within the next 24 hours in the European Union.

Modern.az reports that this was stated by EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas.

According to her, a new impetus has been given to the process after the elections in Hungary, and therefore a positive decision regarding the said loan is expected.

Kallas added that the foreign ministers of EU countries have agreed to restart the process of approving the 20th package of sanctions against Russia, and some ministers have already put forward new proposals for the 21st package.

It should be recalled that previously the adoption of the 20th package of sanctions against Russia was blocked by Hungary and Slovakia.
