US President Donald Trump is seriously considering making Venezuela the 51st state of the United States.

Modern.az reports that the politician voiced this idea in a phone conversation with "Fox News" correspondent John Roberts.

"He told me he was seriously considering making Venezuela the 51st state," the journalist said.
