US President Donald Trump has invited Chinese leader Xi Jinping to an official visit to the White House in September.

Modern.az reports that Al Jazeera spread information about this.

According to the information, Trump also announced a specific date for the next high-level meeting in Washington. The US president proposed that the meeting take place on September 24.

Trump also invited the Chinese leader's wife, Peng Liyuan, to accompany Xi Jinping during the visit.
