Lebanon's Shiite organization "Hezbollah" announced that Israel suffered losses in Lebanon and in response targeted civilians.
Modern.az reports that the organization's secretary general, Sheikh Naim Qassem, spoke about this during a televised address to his supporters. His speech was broadcast on "Al Mayadeen" TV channel.
Naim Qassem stated that the drones of the Islamic resistance constantly monitor Israeli forces, and in response, Israel destroys residential buildings and kills civilians.
According to the Shiite leader, the events in southern Lebanon indicate the beginning of the weakening of Israeli power.
Qassem also called for an end to Israeli attacks, the complete withdrawal of Israeli troops, the release of prisoners, and the return of displaced persons.
He also demanded that the Lebanese government revoke the decision adopted on March 2, which declared "Hezbollah" fighters illegal.
"Disarming the armed resistance is an Israeli project. Reject it, stop direct negotiations with Israel, and return to national consensus," Naim Qassem emphasized.
According to him, if the government cannot ensure Lebanon's sovereignty, it should resign.
