At least 51 people have died and 39 more have been injured as a result of floods affecting seven districts of Bangladesh.

"The flood situation in seven districts of the country's southeastern and northeastern regions has worsened due to incessant heavy rains, rising water levels in the upper reaches of rivers, and landslides," the material noted.
