US President Donald Trump has come to the fore with another harsh statement about Iran.
Modern.az reports that Trump spoke about this live on "Fox News" TV channel.
The US president said that an agreement had been reached between Washington and Tehran, but Iran violated its obligations at the last moment.
"We had an agreement. Nop knew that such an agreement had been reached. Everything was agreed, but then they broke it. We have reached an agreement with these people ten times. That's why we will strike them very hard," Trump said.
In his statement, Trump did not specify when and at what targets possible strikes would be directed. However, his statement has fueled concerns that tensions in US-Iran relations could escalate further.
