The results of the graduation exam held on April 12, 2026, for the general (9-year) secondary education level have been announced. According to the information, 7 participants achieved the highest result by scoring the maximum 300 points.
Modern.az spoke with Hasan Maharramli, a student of Baku city secondary school No. 102, one of the students who scored the maximum points among the exam participants.
In his statement to our website, he first expressed his gratitude to his parents and school teachers. According to him, his school teachers played a big role in his success:
"My teachers played a very big role in this success. I want to express my gratitude to them.
I want to say that during the academic year, I studied for about three hours every day. In the last month, I increased my preparation even more, studying 6-7 hours a day. I worked very hard to achieve this success.
I think the main thing is to work regularly. I always studied until the ninth grade, and I approached my lessons responsibly. I have a very good relationship with my teachers, and I believe that it is important to be like this to achieve success."
Hasan, who scored high, also said that he prepared for the exams individually:
"I did not prepare with a tutor, I studied with the support of my school teachers. Before the exam, I was not completely sure about the result. I had some concerns about a few open questions, but thankfully everything turned out well.
Hasan also stated that he is preparing for the II specialty group:
"My interest in this direction arose in the first grades. I especially love history and geography, and my results in this area have always been good. I believe that in the 11th grade, I will also show high results and score 700 points," he said.
For your information, 1 person studying in English also achieved the highest result by scoring 200 points. It should be noted that graduates of schools where teaching is conducted in a different language take exams in 2 subjects (mathematics and foreign language) and the maximum score they can get is 200.
