US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said that the Nobel Peace Prize should only be awarded to the US Armed Forces every year.

Modern.az reports that Hegseth voiced this idea during his speech.

According to him, the US Armed Forces play a key role in ensuring global security and therefore deserve the highest peace prize.

It should be noted that the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded annually to individuals and organizations that contribute to strengthening peace and developing international cooperation.
