The United States cannot act as the world's policeman. Our allies in Europe must be able to ensure their own security.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by US Vice President J.D. Vance.
Vance added that the United States cannot be the world's policeman: "We want to be a good ally, we want our troops to contribute to regional stability in Europe. President Donald Trump does not want us to withdraw all troops from Europe. But Europe must stand on its own feet, and we are consistent in this matter."
Vance emphasized that the withdrawal of troops is not intended to reward Russia or punish Poland. The US Vice President did not rule out the possibility that these forces could be sent to another European country: "We have not yet made a final decision on where the withdrawn troops will ultimately be stationed."
