A large-scale forest fire continues in the Fontainebleau forest near the French capital, Paris.
Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that the fire covered approximately 800 hectares of forest area. Local authorities described the fire as an “unusual” event due to its scale.
For the first time, special firefighting planes from the southern regions of the country were involved in this area to extinguish the fire.
Employees of emergency services continue their work to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading to a wider area.
