Strong EARTHQUAKE in Turkey

A 5.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Gülümuşağı district of Malatya province, Turkey.

Modern.az reports that the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) issued a statement regarding this.

It was noted that the earthquake was also felt in Elazığ and Kahramanmaraş provinces.

Malatya Governor Serdar Yavuz stated that an investigation into damage and casualties is currently underway in the area.
