Armenia is awaiting a response from Russia regarding the repair of certain sections of the railway line between Turkey and Azerbaijan.

Modern.az reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this in response to a journalist's question.

According to him, the issue has been discussed at the level of both heads of state and relevant deputy prime ministers.

"I had the opportunity to discuss this with the President of Russia, and the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia also discussed this issue with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. We are awaiting a response from our Russian partners," Pashinyan stated.

Regarding the timeframe, the Prime Minister noted that, taking into account the ongoing processes, a decision should be made without delay.

"We want this to be done now, because there are ongoing processes about which you will be informed, and they require a decision to be made as soon as possible," he said.

It should be recalled that Pashinyan had previously stated that he discussed the restoration of the Gazakh-Ijevan and Arasdayan (Yeraskh)-Julfa-Nakhchivan railways with Russian leader Putin.
