The Iranian government has met public needs; schools and universities will remain closed.

Modern.az reports that Iran's Supreme National Security Council has issued a statement regarding the emergency situation in the country.

According to the Council, the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran has already taken measures to meet all public needs, and there are no concerns regarding the delivery of daily necessities.

It was stated that schools and universities will remain closed until further notice, as this is one of the measures taken to ensure the safety of citizens. Banks, however, will continue to provide services to law-abiding citizens.

Furthermore, state institutions will operate at 50% capacity for a certain period.
