At least 3 people have died and 5 have been injured as a result of an attack by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the Moscow region.
Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that this was announced by the governor of the Moscow region, Andrey Vorobyov.
According to him, 81 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the region during the night.
3 people died and 3 more were injured as a result of drone debris falling in the village of Pionersky, Istra city district. As a result of the incident, fires broke out in 5 private residential buildings.
In the city of Solnechnogorsk, an unmanned aerial vehicle crashed into a residential building. As a result, 2 people were injured. Two private houses were also damaged in the village of Babkino, Istra district.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin stated that more than 350 drone flights in the direction of Moscow have been recorded since the evening of July 12. Most of them were destroyed by air defense systems at a long distance from the capital.
According to the mayor, 50 unmanned aerial vehicles were neutralized near Moscow alone.
