It is alleged that Armenia's Minister of High-Tech Industry, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, resigned at the request of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Modern.az reports, citing Armenian media, that according to disseminated information, Pashinyan sent a short SMS message to the minister, demanding his resignation.
According to the allegations, there are two main reasons for the decision. The first reason is stated to be that the programs curated by Hayrapetyan, including military modernization and space projects, did not yield the expected results.
According to another claim, the minister was suspected of leaking internal information to former opposition deputies Hrachya Aghazaryan and Hakob Aslanyan.
No official statement has yet been made by official bodies regarding this information.
