The Ministry of Emergency Situations continues its activities in the implementation of its duties, including the protection of the population and territories from natural and man-made emergencies.
According to information provided to Modern.az by the Ministry, based on calls received by the “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the relevant agencies of the Ministry carried out rescue operations last week for 139 fires, 24 cases of helplessness, and 5 road accidents.
It was stated that as a result of the urgent and immediate measures taken, the prompt extinguishing of fires and the saving of human lives were ensured.
In total, the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations rescued 32 people, including 12 minors, evacuated 12 people, 2 people were poisoned by smoke, 1 person was injured, and the bodies of 8 people were handed over last week.
