5 countries boycott “Eurovision” - SCANDAL

Broadcasters from Spain, Ireland, the Netherlands, Iceland, and Slovenia have refused to participate in the 2026 “Eurovision” contest as a sign of protest against Israel's participation.

Modern.az reports that BBC released information about this.

These countries boycotted “Eurovision” in protest of Israel's military operation in Gaza, accusing the Israeli government of "genocide".

It should be recalled that this year the competition is planned to consist of two semi-finals on May 12 and 14, and the final stage on May 16. The 2026 “Eurovision” contest will be held in Austria.
