Last year, the expenditures of the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) increased by 9 percent or 629 million manats compared to the previous year, reaching 7, 5 billion manats.
Modern.az reports that, this was stated by Zeka Mirzayev, Chairman of the Board of the SSPF, during his speech at a press conference on the fund's 2025 results and 2026 targets.
According to him, the average monthly pension increased by another 9 percent last year, reaching 543 manats, including the average monthly pension for age, which reached 578 manats. The growth dynamics in pensions will continue this year as well.
