“Last year, 655 million manats were spent on cooperation with international and regional organizations, financial institutions, the activities of diplomatic missions and consulates abroad, international and national events, and foreign aid.”
This was stated by Minister of Finance Sahil Babayev at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis during the discussion of the draft law “On the execution of the state budget for 2025”.
The Minister stated that in the reporting year, 504 million manats were spent as financial support from the state to agricultural product producers for financing measures related to ensuring food security, which is 18.5 million manats or 3.8 percent more compared to 2024.
“Last year, a total of 100 million manats was spent, including 85 million manats for granting preferential mortgage loans and 15 million manats for financing subsidies for interest calculated on loans taken by entrepreneurial entities in manats. In the reporting year, 968 million manats were allocated from the state budget to 44 public legal entities for the financial provision of works and services created on behalf of the state and carried out on the basis of state orders. In 2025, 7.6 billion manats, or 19.6 percent of budget expenditures, have been allocated for expenses related to economic activities. From this source, 2.3 billion manats have been directed to the implementation of investment projects,” S. Babayev noted.
S. Babayev also emphasized that 1.7 billion manats of investment expenditures were directed to infrastructure projects, 303 million manats to social sphere facilities, and 98 million manats to the construction, reconstruction, and major repair of facilities for the country's defense, judiciary, law enforcement, and other areas.
