A total of 3,505 people from 78 countries were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan from 08:00 on February 28 to 10:00 on April 13.
Modern.az reports that 613 of those evacuated are citizens of Azerbaijan.
At the same time, 736 citizens of China, 374 of Russia, 294 of India, 198 of Bangladesh, 194 of Tajikistan, 152 of Pakistan, 136 of Iran, 116 of Indonesia, 84 of Oman, 57 of Algeria, 46 of Italy, 30 of Germany, 27 of Canada, 26 of Spain, 25 of France, 21 of Georgia, 18 each of Saudi Arabia and Japan, 17 each of Uzbekistan and the USA, 16 of Bahrain, 14 each of Poland and Switzerland, 13 each of Nigeria, Kazakhstan, and Belarus, 12 of Hungary, 11 of Mexico, 10 each of Great Britain, Bulgaria, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, 9 of Brazil, 8 each of Sudan and Venezuela, and 6 each of Finland, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belgium, Kyrgyzstan, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates were evacuated.
In addition, among those evacuated are 5 citizens each of Turkey, Serbia, Sweden, Afghanistan, Austria, Greece, and Vietnam, 4 each of Jordan, Philippines, Ukraine, Sri Lanka, Kuwait, and the Netherlands, 3 each of Qatar, Croatia, Denmark, and Norway, and 2 citizens each of Nepal, Lebanon, Yemen, Myanmar, Cyprus, Egypt, Slovenia, and Uruguay.
1 citizen each of Tunisia, South Africa, Maldives, Cuba, Vatican, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Latvia, Belize, and Dominica were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan.
It should be recalled that the USA and Israel started military operations against Iran on February 28. As a result, Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and a number of high-ranking officials were killed. After this, Iran began to strike targets it had identified in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Iraq, and Cyprus, where military bases of the USA and its allies, as well as Israel, are located.
