The acceptance of applications for higher education institutions, as well as for secondary specialized education institutions on the basis of complete (11-year) and general (9-year) secondary education, has been completed.
Modern.az reports that both current and previous years' graduates participated in the application process.
It was reported that, in total, 133389 applicants registered.
Specifically, 129655 people applied for admission to higher education institutions, comprising 120671 people for the Azerbaijani section and 12718 people for the Russian section. For colleges (11-year), this number totals 120377 people, consisting of 110362 people for the Azerbaijani section and 10015 people for the Russian section.
For secondary specialized education institutions on the basis of 9-year secondary education, 28803 applicants registered, comprising 27408 from the Azerbaijani section and 1395 from the Russian section.
It should be noted that the acceptance of applications for higher education institutions, as well as for secondary specialized education institutions on the basis of complete (11-year) and general (9-year) secondary education, began on February 18, 2026.
