Until recently, certain radical and marginal circles in Turkey were making claims that Azerbaijan was supposedly “silent” on the Palestinian issue, or was pro-Israel. This cannot be considered coincidental in any way.
For a long time, forces seeking to undermine Turkey-Azerbaijan relations were looking for a new topic.
These circles seized the Palestinian issue as an opportunity to try and damage the bonds of brotherhood.
Behind this information operation stand radical Islamists, leftist circles, the Armenian diaspora, as well as Russia-oriented political figures. And those who disseminate this information are, in fact, enemies of Turkey.
They serve the same purpose under different names in various countries.
Disrupting the unity of the Turkic world and pitting Azerbaijan and Turkey against each other are among their objectives.
The Palestinian issue was concluded at the recent Egypt meeting, which was also attended by the American president. Thus, this opportunity was lost.
Now, the sound of a new, entirely new "musical instrument" is heard. The performer is a national traitor named Doğu Perinçek. The way this politician plays this instrument, the sound emanates not from the musical instrument, but from the politician himself. Such individuals are a disgrace to Turkey. If only there were no such scoundrels in the brotherly country...
Perinçek, who is the chairman of the Vatan Party, circulated information claiming that he sent a letter to the Azerbaijani government and the Presidential Administration, demanding the cancellation of the “Conference of European Rabbis” planned to be held in Baku in November 2025.
He demanded it... If you ask the man who he is, whose orders he is following... He presents himself as a national devotee.
In fact, this rhetoric, or rather, Perinçek's song, is not new.

This individual has for years been another, old, and exposed example of the psychological propaganda model used by Russia and Iran in the region.
He is an active participant in the campaign directed against the pro-Western policies of Turkic states under the guise of Muslim solidarity.
Let's get to know Perinçek a little better.
He has been known as one of the pioneers of the radical left movement in Turkey since the 1970s. Like most leftist movements of that era, he had unbreakable ideological and material ties with Moscow. These connections were not only manifested at an ideological level but also demonstrated in practical activities. Even after the collapse of the USSR, Perinçek's perspective and his status as a Russian lackey have not changed. This time, he has been pushed into Russian and Iranian politics under the slogans of “anti-NATO,” “anti-America,” and “anti-Europe.”
It appears that the Vatan Party serves as a bridge with certain circles in Russia. It transmits Russia's ideological messages to Turkish society under the guise of a “national stance.” Perinçek's family ties and financial sources also confirm this direction.
Information has been repeatedly published in reliable sources about his son living and engaging in business activities in Russia. There is no one in Turkish society who is unaware of this.
At the same time, it is known that Perinçek is in close contact with Russian political scientists and media representatives. That is, the connections are clearly visible on an ideological level as well. He regularly appears on Russian television channels, advocating the ideas that Turkey “should leave NATO” and “Turkey should join the Eurasian Union.”

These views are fully consistent with Moscow's interests. In other words, Perinçek is Russia and Iran's mouthpiece in the region. Now, this Russian lackey's barking towards Azerbaijan is not spontaneous. In recent years, Azerbaijan has become both the political center of the Turkic world and a key player in energy security strategy.
Projects such as Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, TANAP, and the Zangezur corridor unite Western and Turkic states. Although they may not admit it, this strikes a blow to the geopolitical orbit of Russia and Iran.
Naturally, in such circumstances, Azerbaijan's cooperation with Israel and its integration into Western technologies cause concern for the powers manipulating this individual.
Therefore, this cooperation is targeted under the pretext of a Jewish issue after the “Palestinian issue” failed. In reality, Azerbaijan has always supported the independence and rights of the Palestinian state.
This is also based on UN resolutions and official statements. But for those who distort reality, facts are irrelevant. Perinçek doesn't need facts; he needs money.
The objective of figures like Doğu Perinçek is completely clear. They are insistent on creating artificial disagreements between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
This line is pursued at both political and public consciousness levels. When some “opposition” circles in Turkey criticize Azerbaijan, pro-Russian media immediately amplify and disseminate these views.
Doğu Perinçek's speeches are widely broadcast in Russian media. Analysts close to the Kremlin call him “an anti-NATO voice in Turkey.” Some Russian channels even present him as a “bridge of friendship between Turkey and Moscow.” In reality, however, this is a bridge against Turkic unity.
For Perinçek and those like him, the concept of the “Turkic world” should be transformed into a Eurasian bloc under Russia's control. This is not in the interests of Azerbaijan, Turkey, or the Central Asian states. Those who support this ignorant person in Turkey should be aware that they are working against Turkey.

Therefore, the letter disseminated by Doğu Perinçek should be regarded as part of a coordinated provocation. Because the goal is to strike at the strategic foundations of Azerbaijan-Turkey relations.
This provocation aims to undermine the idea of national unity under the guise of religion, to discredit Baku's hosting of international events with a “negative framework” in the regional influence competition, and to draw a religious gathering into a political framework to keep it under pressure.
Let us not forget, if Perinçek targets Baku today, he will strike Ankara with the same rhetoric tomorrow.
Because the essence of this policy is to dismantle Turkic unity and deter Turkic states from making independent decisions.
Azerbaijan and Turkey are currently at the pinnacle of strategic alliance. Pawns like Perinçek cannot undermine this unity. Because this unity is built on history and the future. Simply put, there should be no place for such ignorant individuals in brotherly Turkey.
