Work on taking appropriate safety measures in areas flooded due to intensive rains continued uninterruptedly throughout the past day and night by the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Regarding this, information was provided to Modern.az by the press service of the MES.
It was reported that, as a result of the measures taken, a total of 454 people, including 75 minors, were evacuated to a safe area.
It should be noted that measures to eliminate the consequences that have arisen are carried out by the forces of the MES Civil Defense Troops, the State Fire Protection and Special Risky Rescue Services, the State Service for Control over Small-Sized Vessels and Rescue in Water Basins, and the Baku and Sumgayit Regional Centers.
