The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the "Technical Regulation on the Safety of Gas-Fired Appliances and Equipment (TR 001/2026/AZ)".
Modern.az reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a new decision in this regard.
The decision states that the document will come into force after 6 months. This Technical Regulation will apply to appliances and equipment that have not been put into operation before its effective date, are in the production process, and will be put into circulation in the consumer market in the country.
The Technical Regulation will cover the following appliances and equipment:
In addition, the Technical Regulation does not apply to the following appliances and equipment:
- steam boilers with a steam pressure above 0.07 MPa and water heaters with a water temperature above 115 °C;
- appliances and equipment intended for use in technological processes in industrial enterprises, with the exception of appliances and equipment included in the List provided in Annex 1 to this Technical Regulation;
- appliances that use gas as engine fuel.
