The results of the graduation exam held on March 15, 2026, for the full (11-year) secondary education level have been announced.

Modern.az was informed about this by the SEC.

It was stated that 11th-grade students who participated in the exam can familiarize themselves with their exam results, a graphical representation of their answer sheet, correct answers to closed-type tasks, as well as evaluation criteria for each open-type task requiring a detailed written answer (probable correct answers, solutions, evaluation scale, and examples of written work) by entering the given link and using their work number (8-digit student code) and the number of their identity document (or FIN code). Exam participants can find their work numbers here.

Students can also learn about their exam results (total score for each subject) by sending their “work number” (8-digit student code) to 7727 via mobile operators (Azercell, Bakcell, Nar).

The process of checking written works (answers to open-type tasks) was carried out online. Each marker joined the checking process from their home and checked the works randomly sent to their computer by the program. It should be noted that face recognition technology was applied in the online checking process, and all requirements of the checking process (improvement of criteria, encryption of works, markers participating in calibration before checking each task, application of the "seeding" process during checking (regular sending of pre-prepared and calibrated questions to markers to maintain vigilance), random sending of works to markers by the program, investigation of exam protocols, etc.) were followed.

The software for online checking of written works was developed by specialists of the State Examination Center.

It should be noted that in the graduation exam, students are presented with a total of 85 tasks: 10 open-type tasks requiring written answers and 20 closed-type tasks for the language of instruction subject; 7 open-type tasks requiring written answers, 5 codable open-type tasks, and 13 closed-type tasks for mathematics; and 7 open-type tasks requiring written answers and 23 closed-type tasks for the foreign language subject. At this stage, the maximum score that can be collected for each subject is 100, with a total of 300 points. You can familiarize yourself with the scoring rules in the file at the link.

Out of 58144 people expected to participate in this exam, 379 did not attend. 10 people were expelled from the exam for violating exam rules.

Among the exam participants, 9 people (see the list here) achieved the highest result by scoring 300 points.

An Appeals Commission will operate at the SEC to review appeals regarding exam results. Those wishing to appeal to the Appeals Commission can register by filling out the electronic application that will be placed on the SEC website from April 27 at 10:00 AM to April 29 at 5:00 PM. Those who do not register within the specified period will not be able to appeal to the Appeals Commission later. In the electronic application, the number of the task being appealed must be selected, the content of the appeal related to it must be written, and which point of the criterion it is considered to comply with must be indicated. If the content of the appeal is not noted in the electronic application, the application will not be accepted, and that appeal will not be investigated. The appeal process is carried out in the following sequence:

All works that are appealed are investigated by the Appeals Commission;

Expert opinions (in writing) on the tasks appealed by students are added to the appeal applications;

An “sms” regarding the completion of the appeal process is sent to the phone number indicated by the students in their appeal applications.

After this, students can access their applications on the apelyasiya.dim.gov.az website to familiarize themselves with the result of the appeal and print the expert opinion from there.

Appeals related to answers recorded in a manner inconsistent with the instructions on the answer sheet, including corrections that result in the answer being considered incorrect by the optical device (e.g., blackening two circles in a closed question, etc.), will not be considered.

Before appealing to the Appeals Commission, students can familiarize themselves with their results, a graphical representation of their answer sheet, evaluation criteria for each open-type task, as well as the conditions and explanations of the tasks on the SEC website, on the page related to exam results here. The experience of previous exams shows that approximately 15% of those who apply for an appeal either did not answer the task at all or appealed to the commission without comparing their answer with possible correct answers and the evaluation scale. We bring to the attention of applicants that this type of appeal will not be considered.
